| "Frescarini has been investigated regarding GE ingredients and we have guarantees from suppliers that all the ingredients are GE free." - 2002 in 2003 General Mills informed Greenpeace that they have audited their suppliers to ensure a non-GE status for ingredients but it was not clear if this was simply to comply with the food labelling requirements or went beyond to achieve a non-GE derived status.
